Health Informatics for type 2 diabetes

Traditionally, when we wanted to seek information regarding health conditions, the options were to schedule an appointment with your health care provider, which would provide us with handouts and pamphlets, or you would have to do the research on our own in the library. For all these reasons, the field of health informatics has grown steadily over the past decade. Much of this produced can be attributed to the U.S. government. Due to technological advancements and the evolution of health informatics, we can view our electronic health records in real-time.
Health informatics has now made it possible for people to take control of their health by becoming more educated and involved in their healthcare decisions by connecting them to their healthcare team anywhere and anytime.
